PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this Policy explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this Policy easy to find, we make it available electronically on our website or by email request to privacy@olameter.com.

Collection of Information:

This Policy applies to all information collected or submitted on Olameter websites. On some pages, you may request services and/or register to receive materials or data. If you subscribe to any of the services provided by Olameter you may be required to provide further information in order to set up your account. The types of personal information collected on these pages are:

Name:
Email address
Mailing Address
Billing Address
Telephone and Fax Numbers
Job Title etc.
Depending on the service to be provided or the information being acquired, some information is mandatory and some voluntary. When you provide us with personal or corporate information, you understand and agree that this information may be transferred across national boundaries and may be stored at various locations. You also acknowledge that the collection, transferring, storage and processing may be undertaken and carried out by trusted third-party vendors, partners and affiliates of Olameter.

Our equipment is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information about its visitors. It does recognize the home server of visitors, but not email addresses. For example, we can tell which Internet Service Provider our visitors use, but not the names, addresses or other information about our visitors that would allow us to identify the particular visitors to our sites. This information is used only for internal purposes by our technical support staff.

In addition, Olameter websites track information about the visits to said sites. For example, Olameter compiles statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our sites, the daily requests we receive for particular files on our websites, and what countries those requests come from. These aggregated statistics are used internally to better provide services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

Use of Information:
Olameter uses the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to fulfill requested services. Olameter uses return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Data Security:

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, Olameter has put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information Olameter collects online.

Cookies:

A cookie is a small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a Web Server and can only be read by the Web Server which installed said data. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. Olameter may use cookies from time to time during use of the websites to maintain active session information. All information within cookies is anonymous.

Children's Privacy:

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, Olameter never collects or maintains information on our websites from those Olameter knows are under the age of 18, and no part of our web site is structured to attract anyone under the age of 18.

Accessing and Updating Your Personal Information:

You can access all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain such information by sending an email request to privacy@olameter.com. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information. You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows errors. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
